GLA:D is an evidence-based exercise program that is geared towards those who are living with mild to moderate osteoarthritis. This highly effective program is focused on supporting patients in building strength and discovering therapeutic exercises to treat your condition.

The key components of this group are to get stronger with the movements you do daily, to learn to cope with daily activities to become confident in self-managing your discomfort.

This program was originally developed in Denmark and due to its great success, it is now taught around the world. Ask your health care provider if this class is right for you.

Format: Currently offered virtually only.

Cost: $10 for a theraband

Time commitment: Eight weeks. Two classes per week. Each class is one hour long.

Important note: Participants must be diagnosed with arthritis and be referred by their family doctor or health care provider to join this group.
