This six-week workshop is designed for teens ages 13-17 and draws upon evidence-based strategies to combat anxious feelings and behaviours. Attendees will learn how to identify symptoms related to anxiety and ways to cope using physical movement, nutrition, and other practical strategies.
This workshop is intended to provide foundational knowledge and may not suit the needs of those requiring a more specialized approach to their concern.
The first week is a mandatory parent information session for parents to attend with their teen to learn more about workshop content and how they can provide ongoing support for their teen. The remaining five weeks are of the teen only.
