Health Basics is a simple, positive and empowering program. This eight-week program is for those who want to choose healthy living, become more active and shift their perspectives. Health Basics focuses on application of simple foundational diet, exercise and mindset approaches to healthier living.
These basic lifestyle choices can prevent or improve chronic disease such as obesity, diabetes, arthritis, hypertension and depression. They will also support healthy aging of the brain and improve mental health. The program teaches low tech and low cost lifestyle choices that should be accessible to everyone.
Throughout the program, participants will set goals in class that are appropriate next steps for your health journey, and practice these skills throughout the week. Small group discussion and a positive atmosphere foster accountability and learning.
