Label Reading

The Label Reading workshop will help you feel more confident in understanding food labels at the grocery store. Join a Registered Dietitian to learn about how to use the information on a food package to make healthier choices.

Food labels can be very confusing but with help, you can learn to:
-Find the nutritional information on packages
-Understand the Nutrition Facts Table, ingredient list and health claims and what this information tells you
-Compare the nutrient contents and learn what nutrients and amounts you should be looking for

Once you learn how to read food labels, you’ll be able to make informed choices to meet your health goals.
